WHAT IS STREET THEATRE:
1. Street theatre is a fairly modern term used to denote plays performed on roads and grounds (trying to spread awareness regarding contemporary political, social, economic situation)
2. A common person’s theatre that deals with a common person’s problems.
3. A play that is performed in street corners with all the power of theatre that it inheres.
4. Street theatre is peoples’ struggle and public consciousness.
5. Street theatre is accepting a challenge with challenge.
6. Street theatre is the voice of the poor, the oppressed and the deprived.
